13-dacia.jpgOn Tuesday, February 13, 2007, Wally Olins, one of the leading figures in branding worldwide, participated at the launch of the translated version of his latest book, “On Brand”, at the Carturesti bookstore in Bucharest. Alongside Wally Olins, the Dacia marketing director Rafael Treguer spoke of the Romanian automobile brand.

 

Wally Olins is highly acclaimed as a genuine personality in such domains as corporate identity and country branding. He created brands and identities for organizations such as Orange, 3i, Akzo-Nobel, BT, Repsol, Q8, Prudential, British Telecom, Guinness, Renault or Volkswagen. In his presentations, the author gave the Dacia brand as an example of success. “The Logan is a very good example of a reinvented brand. What was the Dacia brand in the past and where does it stand now? The Logan is internationally renowned”.


Rafael Treguer briefly presented the landmarks of the Dacia brand rebirth: its starting point and its current position, the strategy adopted, by highlighting that Dacia is nowadays present in almost 50 countries.
