The Romanian Union of Auto Journalists and Publishers awards distinction to François Fourmont

François Fourmont, COO Dacia, whose term is about to conclude, was designated on Tuesday, 15 December, the “personality of the year 2009 in the Romanian car industry” by the Romanian Union of Auto Journalists and Publishers (UZEAR). The distinction was granted by the UZEAR president, Mihai Heimann.

During his six and a half-year term as manager of the Dacia company and of all the activities carried out by Renault in the country, François Fourmont took part in the gradual extension of Dacia products, in the inauguration of the automotive engineering center Renault Technologie Roumanie, of the gearbox plant Renault Mecanique Roumanie and of the Technical Center in Titu. His projects will be continued by Jérôme Olive, former manager of the Douai car plant.
