Dacia has donated 25 computers to the "Ion Barbu" Theoretical High-School in Pitesti

Faithful to its corporate citizen vocation and always watchful to the local community`s needs and concerns, Dacia has donated 25 computers to students of the "Ion Barbu" Theoretical High-School in Pitesti, to be used within the IT laboratories.

The signing ceremony of the donation agreement was held on Thursday, 15 February 2007, in the presence of Mrs. Mihaela Mihai, Dacia Recruitment Department Chief, Adina Burchioiu HR Communication Service Specialist charged with Schools and High-schools relations and Mr. Alexandru Ionescu, Principal of the "Ion Barbu" High-School.

During the ceremony, Mihaela Mihai stressed the fact that this donation constitutes further proof of Dacia`s interest in the local community and of the company`s involvement in solving any problems the local community might face.

Furthermore, she expressed his hope that the IT equipment will prove useful within the IT laboratories where they are installed and that they will help both teachers and students to enjoy a modern education environment.
