Dacia is a partner of the 2008 International Book Fair (19 – 23 November) for the third consecutive year. 2008 is dedicated to the youngest member of the Dacia family, the Sandero. The events organized on this occasion will turn around a new concept : "Dacia Sandero, the play partner of Gaudeamus"; the visitors are invited to leave daily turmoil aside and to impregnate themselves with reading and playing. If, for the 2006 and 2007 editions of the fair, Dacia offered a Dacia Logan as the big prize of the fair lottery, this year’s big prize is a 1.4 MPI Sandero Ambiance. Apart from this prize, Dacia, which has its own exhibition stand at Gaudeamus, will offer other gifts to the visitors of the fair, such as a set of books whose titles revolve around the idea of play – "Jocul ielelor" (A ghost’s dance) by Camil Petrescu, "The Glass Bead Game" by Hermann Hesse, and "Homo ludens" by Johan Huizinga- as well as book-marks and posters signed by caricaturist Mihai Stanescu. All prizes will be awarded by media and entertainment stars who will attend the Dacia events on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd November. Additionally, book lovers will have the occasion to read three interviews on reading, literature and books of actress Monica Davidescu, François Fourmont, CEO of Dacia and Ioana Pintilie, a young employee with Dacia’s Marketing Department. The draw will designate the winner at the special Gaudeamus Lottery to take place on the 23rd of November at 1 pm. The programme of the fair is as follows: Wednesday – Friday, from 11 am to 8 pm; Saturdat, from 10 am to 8 pm and Sunday, from 10 pm and 4 pm. Ti-a placut acest articol?
