Following a 55O–km itinerary, between Bucarest – Sibiu – Bucarest, next to the mountains and the rivers, alongside the Valley Oltului, the specialized and the generalist press discovered the performances of the new 1.5 l-engine: greater power, 85 HP, excellent fuel consumption and dynamic acceleration. Dacia provided the 40 journalists with the two Logan models equipped with the new engine, the Logan sedan and the Logan MCV. Advertised as "Dieselstadt Rezistenz test", the drive test of the 1.5 dCi 85 HP engine offered a host of surprises, introducing the journalists to the medieval history of Sibiu. The information on the commercial range and on the technical qualities of the engine were presented by Dacia officials, from Rafael Treguer, marketing director, Liviu Ion, communication director, Cecilia Tudor and George Vilcereanu, product managers, to Eric Pain and Gabriel Zamfir, the engine specialists.
