Dacia si dezvoltarea durabila

The Dacia environmental policy observes the principles of the Renault sustainable development strategy. This has as its purposes the maintenance of the ecological balance, the decrease of the company activities' impact upon the surrounding environment and the observance of the environment requirements on the entire life duration of the vehicle, from the design phase and until the end of the use stage.

In most of the countries in the European Union, the vehicle constructors and importers are obliged to ensure the collection of the out-of-service vehicles by a well organized collection network. Dacia also created an own network for the collection of the out-of-service vehicles.

Starting with 2000 and up to the present, at the level of the whole platform in Mioveni, there have been effected investments of 22 million euros to preserve the natural resources, to treat residual waters, soil, air and waste resulted from the manufacturing process.

«Dacia eco²», the economical and ecological solution

The eco² signature is a certification of the fact that Dacia cars are framing in the environment strategy on long term initiated by Renault Group in 2006. The task proposed by the group was to become one the first three car producers at international level referring to the law level regarding CO2 emissions.
